Due to the high number of entrants expected to participate in the event, the race organizers and North Shore Timing Company have decided to only time runners who wish to receive a time and appear in the results. This decision will help defer some of the timing cost and instead place more emphasis on raising money for the Step Up For Colleen Fund. If you are a runner and wish to be officially timed then please indicate with a "yes" in the appropriate space on the registration site.
The proceeds from the Colleen Ritzer 5k Walk/Run will support the Step Up for Colleen Fund at Essex County Community Foundation.
